In 1881 they were living at 21 Paley Street, Everton, with their children Jane(7), Elizabeth Mary(5), James Francis(#3)(3) and Bridget McConville(72). James(#2) was a Provision Merchant and Shipping Clerk.
James(#2) died in 1888/89 leaving by then five children. His widow, Ellen Jane moved to Horsforth, Yorkshire with her three eldest children Jane(17), Elizabeth Mary(15) and James Francis(#3)(13). The two youngest, Richard Henry and Edward went to live with their grandfather James Lennon and were brought up by their uncle Edward and his wife.

In 1894 Elizabeth Mary Lennon married George Slater Yates. George died in 1897 aged 22. A few months later their daughter Georgina Yates was born. In 1900 Elizabeth Mary Yates married James Lawson Cooper.
In 1896 Jane Lennon married Percy Marshall. Esther Winifred Marshall was born three years later.

At Green Lane, Yeadon, Yorkshire, Ellen Jane Lennon(43), born Liverpool was living with her son James Francis Lennon(#3)(22) and her granddaughter Georgina Yates.
At Hudson Terrace, Yeadon, James Lawson Cooper(32), a quarry labourer, born Yeadon was living with his wife Elizabeth Mary Cooper(25).
Also Percy Marshall(27) born Guisley, was living with his wife Jane Marshall(27) born Liverpool and their daughter Esther Winifred Marshall(1).
James Francis Lennon(#3) married Florrie Fitton in 1914 in Wharfedale. Their son Fred Lennon was born 17th of November 1915 and daughter Hilda Lennon in 1918.
Georgina Yates married Arthur Gerard in 1918.
Esther W Marshall married Cyril L Cookson in 1924
Hilda Lennon married Norman Yeadon in 1936.
Fred Lennon married Lilian Chadwick in 1945.
